Morses Club has closed down. Morses Club Limited went into administration on 17 November 2023 and stopped all lending. Its website, phone lines and customer operations have since shut completely, and outstanding loan balances were sold to Lantern, a debt purchase company. After more than 130 years, Morses Club no longer exists as a lender and it is not possible to apply for a Morses Club loan anywhere. Morses Club is no longer on our lender panel.

Had a few loans with Morse yes the interest is a bit high but it’s not as bad a other companies. Ive never had a problem with Morse great for small loans and small payments weekly seen alot of people take the loan then complain don’t take it out if you can’t pay it back

I’ve been a Morse’s customer for over 10 years now, and I’ve got to say, most of these “reviews” seem fake, or extremely untrue at the very least.
Yes they have high APR (has does any other “bad credit” lenders) but EVERYONE who applies for a loan KNOWS the rate before signing.
YES they do credit checks before ANY loan is approved, regardless if you’re an existing customer or not. They HAVE TO, BY LAW!

I applied one day and within 2 days I had the payment in my bank within 10 mins, From start to finish it was all done proffessionally. They done the checks they needed to and I was happy to go ahead. My agent, Paul from Blackburn office is very helpful and can contact him without any problems, and if he cant sort things he passes it on to management. Seems lots of fake reviews praising certain agents if I’m honest,we got Lorraine from glasgow as agent no complaints,very nice,wife has friendly chit chat about life’s events when paying over phone,loans are tad expensive but when you fall on difficult times at least this company can help you when others wont due to poor credit.this is an honest review from someone who uses them.
